Abstract

Cílem studie je odpovědět na otázku, zda současné vymezení sociální politiky v ČR a její praktická realizace vede ke zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti české ekonomiky – tj. zhodnocení vlivu sociální politiky na extenzivní a intenzivní faktory hospodářského růstu. Východiskem pro naplnění tohoto cíle je provedení charakteristiky sociální politiky na základě teoretické analýzy přerozdělovacích procesů (tj. definováním sociálních situací, u nichž se stát podílí na redistribuci finančních prostředků). Tyto teoretické poznatky jsou využity k provedení analýzy redistribučních toků na konkrétních statistických datech České republiky.

Abstract (in English)

The main goal of this paper is to answer a question whether the present definition of social policy in the Czech Republic and its practical realization lead to an increased competitive advantage of the Czech economy; that is the evaluation of the influence of social policy on extensive and intensive factors of economic growth. The starting point for achieving this goal is the characterization of social policy on the basis of theoretic analysis of redistribution processes (through defining the social situations in which the state participates on redistribution of financial resources). These theoretical findings are further used for an analysis of redistribution flows on specific statistic data of the Czech Republic.
