Abstract
We studied effect of anthracycline therapy on physical activity, body and cardiovascular parameters in children treated for malignant tumor. Despite the subjects in group M have no symptoms of cardiovascular or neural injury, we found decrease of systolic blood pressure and physical activity depended on anthracyclline dosage. Together with increased baroreflex sensitivity these findings suggest impairment of autonomic nervous system.

Studovali jsme vliv antracyklinové terapie na fyzickou aktivitu, tělesné a kardiovaskulární parametry u dětí léčených pro zkoubný nádor. Přestože tyto děti neměly žádné známky kardiovaskulárního nebo neuronálního poškození, nalzli jsme pokles systolického tlaku v závislosti na dávce antracyklinů. Společně se vzestupem baroreflexní citlivosti tyto nálezy naznačují postižení autonomního nervového systému.
