1. září 2006 zpřístupnila Masarykova univerzita na Internetu – jako první vysoká škola v České republice – v úplném rozsahu všechny bakalářské, diplomové, rigorózní a disertační práce. Povinnost zveřejnění prací podle zákona se týká pouze závěrečných prací odevzdaných po účinnosti novely zákona, tj. od začátku roku 2006. Masarykova univerzita však zveřejnila také práce odevzdané a obhájené v dřívějších letech, jejichž autoči dali se zvěřejněním souhlas.
In English
On the 1st of September 2006 Masaryk university made all their theses public as the first university in the Czech Republic. MU did it by making available a database of the theses of graduated students in 2006 and published them via MU Information system. The means of providing access to these theses is stipulated in the internal regulations of Masaryk university. Masaryk university Publisher also some theses written the years before if the authors gave the persmission to the publication.
