To the monothematic conference which was organized in connection with To To the monothematic conference which was organized in connection with the grant project GAČR č.406/05/2107 „Autonomy in Learning Process and Foreign Language Teaching“, erudite university FLT educationalists, mostly from Czech and Slovak universities, contributed. Ther were presented state of fostering autonomy in foreign language teaching in Czech and Slovak schools, of empirical research both here and abroad, as well as of theoretical bases of such aims.
