Abstract
Trebouxia erici was chosen as model symbiont of lichen association between a fungus (mycobiont) and photosynthetizing partner (photobiont) because it was an experimental species of former studies focused on heavy metals effect on photosynthetic and growth characteristic of lichens nd lichen-forming algae. We exposed the algae to different concentration of Cu to investigate their growth and photosynthetic response.
