Abstract
Geography accepts field works as ones of the most important ways of teaching pupils to understand the present world. Other than ecological education in forest is presented. It is based on explanation of causes of territorial distribution of forests in the landscape and their functions in local/regional territorial system using undestandable terms and based on pupils` initiative.

Geografie prijima field work jako jeden z nejdulezitejsich zpusobu vzdelavani zaku pri poznavani soucasneho sveta. Nabizi jiny nez ekologicky zpusob terenni vyuky v lese. Ten je zalozen na vykladu pricin prostoroveho rozmisteni lesa v krajine a jeho roli v mistnim/regionalnim uzemnim systemu, k cemuz jsou pouzivany snadno pochopitelne pojmy a vyuzivana inciativa zaku.
