Multiple logistic regression analysis of body mass index (BMI, kg/m2) and baroreflex sensitivity (BRS, ms/mmHg) performed in 38 hypertensive subjects and 73 healthy controls aged 16.5 years revealed that a low BRS (p=0.001) and an increased BMI (p=0.0004) were independent variables associated with increased risk of hypertension.

Mnohonásobná logistická regresní analýza body mass indexu (BMI, kg/m2) a baroreflexní sensitivity (BRS, ms/mmHg) provedená u 38 hypertenzních a 73 zdravých kontrol ve věku 16.5 let ukázala, že nízká BRS (p=0.001) a zvýšený BMI (p=0.0004) jsou dva nezávislé factory spojené se zvýšeným rizikem hypertenze.
