The article is review of the book "Management of the Value of a Company" (Neumaierová, I. a kol.). The reviewed book offers a comprehensive view on the essence of business and on the operation of a company. It is based on the business economics concept aiming at the integration of knowledge of specialised disciplines, such as accounting, marketing, management, logistics or informatics.

Vychází z podnikohospodářského konceptu, s cílem integrovat poznatky specializovaných disciplín, jakými jsou účetnictví, marketing, management, logistika či informatika.
