Abstract

Pracovní migrace z Ukrajiny do České republiky trvá už patnáct let. Za tu dobu rozvinuli imigranti několik strategií, které jim zajišťují přístup na český pracovní trh. Jednou z nich je začlenění do organizovaného systému zvaného „klientský“. Mezi ostatními zaujímá tento systém dominantní roli. Klientský systém je z hlediska mocenských vztahů a příjmů hierarchizovaný do tří stupňů. Na vrcholu pomyslné pyramidy jsou skupiny organizovaného zločinu, na spodku ukrajinští pracovníci. Mezi nimi stojí třetí skupina: tzv. „klienti“. Jejich hlavní aktivitou je zprostředkování. Převádějí peníze mezi mafií a imigranty, na trhu práce jsou prostředníky mezi nabídkou a poptávkou po pracovní síle a v neposlední řadě také zprostředkovávají kontakt mezi imigranty a českými i ukrajinskými úřady. Mým záměrem je podat popis klientského systému, interpretovat jeho funkce a důvody, které přispěly k jeho vzniku v dané podobě.

Abstract (in English)

Labour migration from the Ukraine into the Czech Republic has lasted for fifteen years. Throughout this time period the Ukrainians have developed several strategies which provide them with an access to the Czech labour market. One of these strategies is participating in organized system called cliental and among the others it occupies a dominant role. The client system is in terms of power and incomes hierarchized into three stages. At the top of an imaginary pyramid there are groups of organized crime, at the bottom Ukrainian workers. There is a third group standing between these two: so called clients. Their main activity is mediation. They transfer money between mafia and immigrants and they are mediators between supply and demand for workforce on labour market and last but not least they mediate a contact between immigrants and both Czech and Ukrainian bureaus. My intention is to describe the client system, interpret its functions and reasons why it is established in a given form.
