Abstract
The genus Tachina (Tachinini) is represented in Europe by 12 widely distributed species from 4 subgenera, of which 8 species occur in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The partial mitochondrial gene for 16S rDNA was selected as a molecular marker. According to our preliminary phylogenetic analysis, T. nupta is a close species to T. magnicornis (the percentage difference between these species was 1.5%). The analysis has placed T. fera, T. magnicornis and T. nupta in a common group corresponding to the subgenus Eudoromyia, T. ursina, T. nigrohirta and T. lurida in a common group corresponding to the subgenus Servillia and T. grossa from the subgenus Tachina was placed separately. In the further study, we will focus on the intraspecific variability of the T. magnicornis group to describe more in detail the relationships within the group. Our preliminary results, however, suggest that the species status of all studied taxa seems to be well supported and molecular methods have proved useful in checking the taxonomy of the genus.
Abstract (in Czech)
Rod Tachina je v Europe zastupeny 12 druhmi patriacimi do 4 podrodov. Druhy zijuce v strednej Europe parazituju v huseniciach motylov celadi Arctiidae, Lasiocampidae, Lymantriidae, Noctuidae, Notodontidae a Sphingidae. Hostitelia druhov T. ursina a T. nigrohirta su nezname. Druhy tohto rodu je velmi obtiazne odlisit na zaklade morfologickych znakov. V tejto studii sme sa snazili rekonstruovat medzidruhove vztahy v ramci rodu na zaklade parcialnych sekvencii genu 16S. Na zaklade predbeznych vysledkov je druh T. nupta v blizkom vztahu k druhu T. magnicornis. Rozdelenie druhov plne koresponduje s prislusnostou k jednotlivym podrodom.
