Abstract

Výstava fotografií předního českého fotografa přelomu 19. a 20. století Rudolfa Brunera-Dvořáka, který zachytil mizející svět muslimské Bosny za rakousko-uherské okupace. Jeho snímky jsou etnografickým dokumentem dávno zaniklého světa typického muslimského bosenského města a jeho okolí, dokumentující dobu, kdy byla osmanská kultura provinčního bosenského města a jeho patriarchální společnost postupně konfrontována s poznenáhlu pronikající kosmopolitní evropskou kulturou. Součástí výstavy byly také trojrozměrné předměty, dokumentující lidovou kulturu Bosny konce 19. století. K výstavě byl vydán stejnojmenný katalog.

Abstract (in English)

Exhibition of photographs of the leading Czech photographer turn of the 19th and 20 century, Rudolf Bruner-Dvorak, who captured the vanishing world of Muslim Bosnia in Austria-Hungary's occupation. His pictures represent the ethnographic documentary of a typical long-lost world of the Bosnian Muslim city and its surroundings, documenting the period when the Ottoman provincial Bosnian city of culture and patriarchal society gradually confronted with gently flowing cosmopolitan European culture. The exhibition was also a three-dimensional objects, documenting the folk culture of Bosnia end of the 19 century. The exhibition catalog was released the same name.
