Abstract |
---|
Ajmaline decreased the upstroke velocity of action potential and its amplitude, very likely by inhibition of sodium current INa. The observed prolongation of action potential was probably related to the inhibition of transient outward potassium current Ito, the main repolarizing current in rat. This effect predominates over the opposite effect of the inhibition of calcium current ICaL, partly because of lower IC50. |

Ajmalie zpomaloval depolarizační fázi akčního napětí a snižoval jeho amplitudu, velice pravděpodobně díky inhibici sodíkového proudu. Prodloužení trvání akčního napětí bylo zase nejspíš důsledkem blokády přechodného draslíkového proudu z buňky, hlavního repolarizačního proudu u potkana. Tento efekt převládl nad opačným efektem způsobeným blokádou vápníkového proudu, zejména vzhledem k nižší IC50. |
