Abstract
This summer school tackled the key questions of environmental informatics. It was aimed at an interdisciplinary education of students in environmental risk assessment and associated problems of data management, analysis and interpretation. Three separately organized sessions featuring experienced speakers dealt with: 1. Methodical concept in environmental risk assessment and ICTs 2. Statistical methods and modeling 3. Information systems and visualization of data in environmental risk assessment
