Abstract

Příspěvek se zabývá úvodní fází procesu akceptace dítěte s postižením ze strany rodičů. Dynamika uvedeného procesu je nahlížena z obecného hlediska, bez specifikace postižení. Text zdůrazňuje význam emocionálního kontextu interakce rodiče a dítěte, který je negativně ovlivněn nepříznivou skutečností postižení dítěte. Naznačuje důsledky, jaké má pro vývoj dítěte dosažená adaptace rodiče. Rodiče prožívají postižení svého dítěte jako ztrátu a traumatizující zkušenost. Pro jejich úspěšné projití tzv. "uzdravující sekvencí" potřebují plně vyjádřit a prožít své emoce. K tomu může dojít v dialogu, ve kterém odborník nebo někdo z blízkých potvrdí rodičům závažnost prožívané ztráty. Pokud rodiče nemají prostor pro toto zpracování vlastních prožitků, budou pravděpodobně prožívat svůj zármutek chronicky, na nevědomé úrovni. Jiným důležitým aspektem vyrovnání se s nepříznivou skutečností je nalezení (znovu utvoření) smyslu ve své konkrétní situaci. Tento aspekt uvažovaného procesu hraje významnou roli v procesu akceptace dítěte s postižením a současně je klíčem k získání pozitivního zisku plynoucího ze zvládnutí náročné situace. Pokud rodiče úspěšně projdou fázemi procesu akceptace postižení dítěte a přijmou "roli rodiče postiženého dítěte"(Matějček, 2001), vytváří tak nejlepší možné podmínky pro další život svého dítěte.

Abstract (in English)

Theoretical study focuses on the beginning of the process of acceptation a child with a disability by her or his own parents. The process is viewed on general level without specification of childs disability. Parents experience the disability of their child as a loss and traumatic event. The context of parent – child interaction is disturbed by childs disability which has consequences for child development. In order to adapt to their child disability parents need to express their emotions fully. Dialogue with specialist or close person who confirms the relevancy of experienced loss can facilitate it otherwise parents are in danger of chronic grief which avoid integration of unfavorable situation. Another important moment in parents adaptation is renewal or finding the meaning in their own particular situation. This moment is also the key to positive profit resourcing from successful adaptation in adversity. Latest research show there is more evidence about positive profit connected to parenting of child with disability. Parents who hade passed fully the healing sequence and accepted the role of parents of disabled child (Matějček, 2001) have prepared the best conditions for future life of their child.
