Abstract

V originále

We can conclude that increase of body weight through correct realimentation could normalize values of blood pressure and its clinical consequences. The patients with anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa suffer from various degree of malnutrition. We found statistical significant changes in blood pressure and pulse rate in these patints which correlated significantly with degree of malnutrition and inflammatory reaction. Monitoring of the changes in the blood pressure and heart rate could be simple and useful parameter signalising severity of malnutrition in bulimia and anorexia nervosa patients. Disclosure of Interest: I declare that I do not have any affiliation with or financial interest in a commercial organisation that poses a conflict of interest.
