Abstract

Deklinace toponym vzoru kost byla zkoumána v korpusu SYN2000. Materiál potvrdil, že rozsah kolísání mezi vzory kost a píseň je u toponym v Gsg. větší, než jak uvádějí současné mluvnice. Důležitým faktorem při distribuci koncovek je povaha koncového konsonantu. V současné spisovné češtině existuje silná tendence volit pravidelnou deklinaci vzoru kost u toponym zakončených na -m, -v a -s, která tak podporují spolu s apelativy tvořenými sufixy -ost/-est postavení vzoru kost v deklinačním systému feminin.

Abstract (in English)

The declension of geographical proper nouns of the kost paradigm was analysed using the data within the SYN2000 corpus. Our main focus was the inquiry into the genetive singular forms.The conclusion was that geographical proper nouns ending in -m, -v and -s show a strong tendency to use regular forms of the kost paradigm.Thus these geographical proper nouns together with the appelative nouns ending in -ost/-est affirm the position the kost paradigm occupies in the system of contemporary Czech feminine nouns declension.
