Abstract
Ectopic expression of human p53 in avian leukemic monoblasts BM2 induces cell cycle arrest in G2, early monocytic differentiation but no apoptosis. This suggests that the species-specific differences of the p53 molelecules,promoter/enhancers, co-factors in avian and human cells do not interfere with differentiation- and cell cycle arrest promoting capabilities of the p53 tumor suppressor even in the presence of functional v-Myb oncoprotein.
Abstract (in Czech)
Ektopická exprese lidského proteinu p53 v ptačích leukemických monoblastech zastavuje buněčný cyklus ve fázi G2 a indukuje ranou monocytickou diferenciaci, ale ne apoptózu. Tento výsledek naznačuje, že mezidruhové rozdíly mezi molekulami p53, promoter/enhancery a kofaktory v ptačích a lidských buňkách nenarušují schopnost nádorového supresoru p53 stimulovat diferenciaci a blokovat proliferaci a to dokonce za přítomnosti funkčního onkoproteinu v-Myb.
