Významnou roli v rozšiřování e-learningu na celé univerzitě sehrávají tzv. e-technici, kteří působí na dílčích fakultách a spolupracují s učiteli. Právě díky této spolupráci se daří na MU rozvíjet skutečnou elektronickou podporu výuky a e-technici podle učitelovy představy doporučí vhodné řešení, zaškolí učitele v používání agendy IS MU, odpovídají na dotazy učitele, odpovídají na technické dotazy studentům učitele (učitel se nemusí zabývat technickými dotazy studentů), poskytují servisní pomoc při zkoušení studentů nebo předají podněty vývojovému týmu.

The important role in gaining in significance and spreading of e-learning plays at Masaryk university the e-technicians. They are available at every faculty and cooperate with teachers there and propose solutions meeting teachers’ requirements, instruct teachers in the use of IS MU, answer teachers’ questions, answer students’ questions (chiefly the technical ones so that their teachers do not need to do so), provide technical assistance during the examination stages or mediate the contact between users and development team.
