Abstract
In the article the old hypothesis about a specific links between the Dravidian and Australian languages is discussed. The most probable solution seems to be the idea of an Australian-like substratum at the Indic peninsula.

Prověření staré hypotézy o drávidsko-australských vazbách může být reinterpretováno tak, že jde v drávidských jazycích o projev substrátu, který mohl být australským jazykům geneticky příbuzný.
