Abstract
The idea of contextual cartographic visualization is that user should not care about selecting context relevant content or symbology; the user should just stated his context and he should obtain appropriate contextual map. Concerning this, there must exist service that selects context relevant content and symbology instead of the user. It is called Contextual Cartographic Service. The paper presents idea and solution of contextual cartographic visualization using Contextual Cartographic Service, which is based on two Open Geospatial Consortium specifications.

Myšlenka kontextové kartografické vizualizace spočívá v tom, že uživatel by se neměl zabývat výběrem obsahu a symboliky mapy; uživatel by měl pouze popsat kontext, v němž se nachází, a na základě svého kontextu by měl obdržet odpovídající kontextovou mapu. Proto je nutné, aby existovala služba, která uživatelově kontextu přiřadí odpovídající obsah a symboliku. Tato služba se nazývá kontextovou kartografickou službou. Tento příspěvek prezentuje myšlenku a řešení kontextové kartografické vizualizace s využitím kontextové kartografické služby, která je založena na specifikacích OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium).
