V originále
OGC's Sensor Web Enablement (SWE) activity, which is being executed through the OGC Web Services (OWS) initiatives (under the Interoperability Program), is establishing the interfaces and protocols that will enable a Sensor Web through which applications and services will be able to access sensors of all types over the Web. This paper describes the architecture of Sensor Web with the emphasis on examples from cartographic point of view. So far, the visualization of Sensor networks has not been standardized and thus we can find many opportunities for involvement of cartography and geoinformatics.
