It offers a further insight into the theory of Functional Sentence Perspective as elaborated by Jan Firbas. Building on the basic principles of FSP, the course FSP 2 deals for example with the issues of potentiality in FSP, the role of FSP in translation or in rhetorics, FSP of a question, distributional macrofields, subtypes of dynamic semantic scales or interpretative function of FSP.
