Abstract
Rhodanese-like enzymes encoded in A.ferrooxidans genome was aim of this study. There was identified eight rhodanese-coding genes, seven of them was amplified by PCR. One putative rhodanese, which has not been studied so far, was prepared in recombinant form and rhodanese activity of this enzyme was detected.

Cílem práce byly rhodanase podobné enzymy kódované v genomu A. ferrooxidans. Osm genů pro rhodanasy bylo identifikováno, sedm z nich amplifikováno pomocí PCR. Jedna předpokládaná rhodanasa, jež dosud nebyla studována, byla připravena v rekombinantní podobě. Následně byla detekována rhodanasová aktivita tohoto enzymu.
