Abstract
An individual approach is a neglected pedagogical principle, which is engraved in the theory of searching for person's personality. The given theses present an overview of contemporary problems. Everyone who wants school to support the development of each pupil's individuality in order to become an environment that is attractive for both pupils and pedagogues deals with such problems.

Individuální přístup je opomíjený pedagogický princip, který je zakotvený v teorii poznání osobnosti člověka. Předložené teze podávají přehled současných problémů, s nimiž je konfrontován každý, komu záleží na tom, aby škola podporovala rozvoj individuality každého žáka, aby byla prostředím přitažlivým pro učitele a vychovatele, a tak aby podporovala životní pohodu a kvalitu osobnosti žáků i pedagogických pracovníků.
