Abstract

Monografie "Postkomunistické nedemokratické režimy" představuje pokus o popis a typologii tzv. postkomunistických nedemokratických režimů cestou aplikace klasické metodologie výzkumu nedemokratických režimů (J. J. Linz) na data, která přinesl vývoj v postkomunistickém areálu, a konfrontovat ji s postupy preferovanými účastníky debat o hybridních režimech. Struktura monografie: první část je věnována přehledovému výkladu stávajících teorií, metodologií a klasifikací nedemokracií. Druhá část je sestavena ze studií jednotlivých příkladů nedemokratických režimů v postkomunistickém prostoru. V třetí části autoři nabízejí návrh revize typologie nedemokracií s přihlédnutím k postkomunistickým reáliím.

Abstract (in English)

Monography "Post-Communist Non-Democratic Regimes" compares the arguments used for the identification of so called hybrid types of regime as special one (Diamond, Levitsky, Schedler) with classical theory and methodology of non-democratic regimes (Linz). Authors prefer the understanding of hybrid regimes as transitional (from to), not naturally non-democratic system category. Evaluating non-democracies in so called post-communist area, it is necessary to use methodological instruments of classical theory of non-democratic regimes.
