Abstract

V originále

Printed Glycan arrays performed by the Consortium for Functional Glycomics (CFG) demonstrated that BclA has a strict specificity for oligosaccharide with a terminal alpha-mannose residue. Thermodynamics of the interaction of BclA with methyl-mannoside and some other mannosylated oligosaccharides was studied by isothermal titration microcalorimetry (ITC). protein has been crystallized and the structure of the complex with the methyl-mannoside was solved at 1.7A resolution.

In Czech

BclA lektin byl strukturně a termodynamicky charakterizována jeho vysoká specifita vůči mannosylovaným sacharidům.
