Abstract

Článek prezentuje výsledky dotazníkového průzkumu realizovaného v předposlední etapě řešení grantového úkolu Grantové agentury ČR Činitelé podněcující a tlumící zakládání a rozvoj malých a středních podniků. Průzkum byl zaměřený na vybrané otázky mapující jednak úroveň úspěšnosti podniků a jednak problémové oblasti podnikání, ze kterých bylo možné získat odpovědi na otázku, které činitelé podněcují a tlumí rozvoj této skupiny podniků a to za období uplynulých tří let, tedy za období těsně před vstupem České republiky do Evropské unie a následující dva roky.

Abstract (in English)

The paper presents the results of the questionnnaire survey realised in the last phase of the grant project research of the Grant Agency Czech Republic. The research targeted the identification of the opportunities and threats arising by the entrepreneurial conditions change. The starting point for solution lied in determination of the small and middle enterprise sector importance for the Czech national economy in the frame of the European Union. Subsequently, the impact of the Czech Republic membership in the EU on the small and middle enterprises was explored in term of the entrepreneurial conditions. With the use of secondary data the framework conditions for doing the business of the small and middle enterprises before and after the EU entry were compared. Primary research finalizing the project was aimed at determination of factors stimulating and hindering the small and middle enterprises establishment and development that are perceived by the existing entrepreneurial subjects as critical for successful business in the period after the Czech Republic integration in the EU.
