Abstract

La traduction tcheque du roman La Soupe aux choux de René Fallet fait l'objet d'une analyse traductologique et sociolinguistique. Se posent d'abord des problemes liés a l'équivalence des termes dialectaux, jargonnesques, voire argotiques, d'une langue a l'autre. Par ailleurs, la traduction doit s'opérer par équivalence de sens, bien souvent dans un cadre plus large que celui de la phrase. Des lors, la difficulté réside non seulement dans la recherche de l'équivalence lexicale mais surtout dans le déchiffrement des sens cachés et des connotations sous-jacentes, clés d'acces aux correspondances interculturelles.

Abstract (in Czech)

Předmětem sociolingvistického rozboru překladatelských technik je srovnání českého překladu románu René Falleta Zelňačka s originálem La Soupe aux choux. Sociokulturní narážky, konotace a zejména prvky dialektu, slangu a technolektu jsou v překladatelské praxi jedněmi z nejkomplikovanějších elementů. Významová ekvivalence je často suprasegmentální, je nutno kompenzovat styl autora češtině vlastními prostředky.

Abstract (in English)

The Czech translation of René Fallet's novel The Cabbage soupe is analysed by comparative methods of translatology and sociolinguistics. The main intercultural problem seems to be the equivalence of idioms issue from various dialects, slangs or technolects. The equivalence exceed often the frame of one phrase and the translator has to compensate French sociocultural allusions for variants specific to Czech background.
