Abstract
Image analysis disclosed the higher intensity of immunostaining for CB1 receptors in selected mesencephalic structures of the control animals than in methamphetamine treated rats. The down-regulation of CB1 receptors can decrease an inhibiting influence of GABA and thus the dopaminergic pathway activation by methamphetamine might be more intensive.
Abstract (in Czech)
Ve vybraných strukturách mesencephala bylo pomocí imunofluorescence detekováno větší množství kanabinoidních CB1 receptorů u kontrolních laboratorních potkanů než u potkanů po opakovaném podávání metamphetaminu. Změna v expresi CB1 receptorů může snižovat inhibiční vliv GABA, a tím zvýšit aktivaci dopaminergního okruhu metamphetaminem.
