Abstract

Text se zaměřuje na metaforu sítě jako zvláštní formu logiky globálního prostoru. V první části je text věnován podrobněji Castellsově teorii network-society, dále pak vizím Williama Mitchella, nakonec je připojen stručný příklad toho, jakým způsobem administrativa města přebírá logiku této metafory za svou a jak ji následně užívá v praxi.

Abstract (in English)

The first part of the text deals with the network/society theory of Manuel Castells. Second part is devoted to the work and visions of William Mitchell who frequently refers in his book to Castells's theory. Last part of the text should give a short example how the representative bodies of the cities accept the metaphor of network in their agenda and statements.
