Abstract
Carbon nanotubes (CNT) have been prepared in atmospheric pressure microwave torch. Nanotubes have grown on colmplex substrate system with thin iron overlayer serving as a catalyst. Because the nanotubes’ parameters, such as diameter and alignment are influenced by the catalyst, a careful study of the catalytic particles, occurring at the very beginning of the deposition process, has been carried out.
