Abstract

Jedním z ústředních termínů kulturní antropologie je termín rituál. Specializovaná oblast etnologie, která se v českém prostředí věnuje fenoménu tradiční obřadnosti, však často s tímto termínem nepracuje. V předkládané studii se zabýváme obyčejem jízdy králů právě z hlediska rituálu a jeho významem v současném světě.

Abstract (in English)

One of the central terms in the literature of cultural anthropology is the term ritual. The specialized subject of ethnology, which in the Czech environment deals with traditional ceremonial phenomena, does not often work with this term ritual. In this article we study the custom Ride of Kings from the standpoint of ritual and its meaning in the contemporary world.
