Stať se na základě pramenů, především právních, zabývá otázkou existence svobody v pozdní antice a sleduje postavení různých skupin pozdně římského obyvatelstva.

Abstract (in English)

The paper is devoted to the question of existence of freedom in the later Roman Empire and describes the positions of different social groups of its inhabitants. It works with various sources, but especially with those of Roman law.
