N2 - Article presents results of geomagnetic prospection and archaeological excavation of the early medieval hill-fort in Majcichov and other sites. The research documented a system of the fortification construction and some settlement structures. After comparing the geomagnetic data with results obtained from excavations we were able to identify some new archaeological structures.
