Abstract
From spring to late summer 2005 the potential interaction of Liometopum microcephalum with another arboreal ant, Lasius fuliginosus, was studied at an South Moravian (Czech Republic) floodplain forest, using pitfall traps arranged along a transect between a nest trees of both species. Other ants trapped were also analysed.

Od jara do pozdního léta r. 2005 byla studována potenciální interakce mezi Liometopum microcephalum a dalším stromovým mravencem, tj. Lasius fuliginosus, v jihomoravském lužním lese a to pomoci zemních pastí uspořádaných podél transektu mezi hnízdními stromy obou druhů. Další zachycené druhy mravenců byly rovněž analyzovány.
