For each quantale L we then introduce a binary relation left triangle, openL on it. The K-flat projective quantales are exactly such quantales with each element a approximated by the element x, xleft triangle, openLa and the relation left triangle, openL being stable with respect to the operations on L. Further on, we introduce the notion of a K-comonad and characterize K-flat projective quantales as such quantales having a coalgebra structure for the K-comonad. ER -
