Abstract
In the present study the development of glottochronology from Swadesh to Starostin is described as an introduction to the application of so called 'recalibrated glottochronology' to Balto-Slavic languages. Finally, the results in absolute chronology are confronted with archaeological and historical data.

V tomto příspěvku popisujeme vývoj glotochronologie od Swadeshe až po Starostina, což slouží jako úvod k aplikaci tak zvané 'rekalibrované glotochrologie' na baltoslovanské jazyky. Výsledky v absolutní chronologii jsou nakonec srovnané s archeologickými a historickými fakty.
