Abstract

V originále

The aim is to explore the consumption patterns of Czech youth and to question the stereotype of being nothing but hedonistic or self-centered passive consumers. The text explores to what extent do consumer lifestyles play a key role in daily-life based experience of young people and to what extent does consumption help them to deal with structural and cultural changes after 1989.
