Abstract
Baroreflex heart rate sensivity (BRS) and blood pressure variability were ananlysed in conscious spontaneously hypertensive and Wistar-Kyoto rats by spectral analysis. It is concluded that BRS does not contribute to the hypertension in spontaneously hypertensive rats. Spectra of systolic and diastolic blood pressure in this group differ from those of normotensive rats by peak at 0.3 Hz.

Analyzovali jsme citlivost baroreflexu (BRS) a variabilitu krevního tlaku pomocí spektrální analýzy u bdělých spontánně hypertenzních a Wistar Kyoto potkanů. BRS nepřispívá ke zvyšování krevního tlaku u spontánně hypertenzních potkanů. Jejich spektra systolického a diastolického tlaku se liší od normotenzních potkanů vrcholem při frekvenci 0.1 Hz.
