Abstract
In the present paper the previous studies devoted to the lexicostatistic or glottochronological classifications of the Kartvelian languages are discussed in the first part. In the second part the wordlist of all Kartvelian languages, including Old georgian, are collected, and analyzed from the etymological point of view. Finally the recalibrated glottochronology is applied to them.
