Abstract
We have developed a system for acquisition and analysis of a large number of 3D images of cells stained by fluorescent dyes. The system is a successor of a previously developed system for high-resolution cytometry of FISH-stained cells [1]. The new system, called Acquiarium [2], is capable of fast 3D acquisition of confocal images using microscopes with spinning disks and provides means for convenient analysis of many 3D image data in one collection. In comparison to the previous system, it was significantly improved; [1] M. Kozubek, S. Kozubek, et al., Combined confocal and wide-field high-resolution cytometry of FISH-stained cells, Cytometry, 2001, 45, 1-12 [2] Acquiarium 1.0: http://cbia.fi.muni.cz/projects/acquiarium-version-1.0.html
