Abstract
The results indicate that the response to orthostasis slightly differs in young subjects with different body mass indexes (BMI). Positive correlations between high BMI and systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), pulse pressure (PP), and mean blood pressure (MBP) in standing position indicate the risk of obesity in hypertension.
