This article brings information about Asperger Syndrome, the syndrome belonging to autism spectrum disorders. It contains a brief characteristic of this syndrome, its etiology, possibilities of diagnostic, counseling, help and education. Famous people with this syndrome are mentioned. The author is thinking whether people with this syndrome are geniuses (extremely talented) or rather impaired or if they belong to both these groups.

Tento příspěvek přináší informace o Aspergerově syndromu, tedy syndromu patřícím do poruch autistického spektra. V příspěvku je uvedena stručná charakteristika postižení, jeho etiologie, diagnostické možnosti, poradenství a pomoc, možnosti vzdělávání a slavné osobnosti s tímto syndromem. Autorka se zamýšlí nad tím, zda jedinci s tímto syndromem jsou geniální, tedy mimořádně nadaní nebo spíše postižení, anebo zda patří do obou těchto kategorií.
