Abstract

V příspěvku je prezentována vícepřípadová studie vycházející z rozhovorů s nadanými dětmi a jejich rodiči. Cílem je získat vhled do subjektivních důvodů dětí vyvíjet úsilí a motivace jejich rodičů poskytovat jim podporu v dané oblasti. Diskutován je především na význam percepce vlastních schopností u dětí a toho, jak jejich schopnosti vnímají rodiče.

Abstract (in English)

In our article, we present a multi-case study based on analysis of interviews with gifted children and their parents. The main goal is to discuss children's subjective reasons to exert effort and motivation of their parents to support their development in respective fields. We focus on the meaning of self-perception of abilities (respective parental perceptions of their abilities) in the development. We consider the origin of the self-perceptions and their possible impact on the achievement development of the children.
