The authors present a research project which has been conducted at the Faculty of Education MU in Brno since 2007. Its main aim is to promote the design of school curriculum with the regard to childern with special educational needs. In the first stage the authors focused on identification of the risks that are entailed in the process of academic or professional career choice by pupils with special educational needs (case studies) and also particulary on the possibilities of encouragement of pupils technical and craft aspiration.

Autoři představují výzkumný projekt realizovaný na Pedagogické fakultě MU, který je zaměřen na rozvoj kurikula s ohledem na žáky se speciální vzdělávací potřebou. Text je věnován dílčím výsledkům z provní části výzkumného šetření s cílem identifikovat některí rizikové a protektivní faktory profesní orientace dětí se SVP a okrajově také možnosti podpory orientace žáků k technickým profesím a řemeslům.
