Abstract

The model of i.v. self-administration of MET (or saline as control) combined with fourteen days of intermittent pretreatment with MET (or saline) was used hypothesizing potential influence of behavioral sensitization to MET on the spontaneous intake in twenty-one i.v. self-administration everyday sessions (120 min.) in male and female ovariectomized rats with and without estrogen substitution.

Abstract (in Czech)

Byl použit model "i.v. self-administration" metamfetaminu (fyziologický roztok jako kontrola) v kombinaci se 14 dní trvající premedimací metamfetaminem k vyvolání behaviorální sensitizace. Byl sledován vliv sensitizace a hormonální hladiny samic na spontánní příjem drogy v modelu "i.v. self-administration".
