Abstract
Studie je věnována analýze vývoje regulace a deregulace ve vybraných zemích Evropské unie: Litva, Lotyšsko, Estonsko, Rumunsko, Bulharsko a Slovinsko (6CE) v obchodí let 1990 až 2007. Pozornost je v práci zaměřena jak na vývoj celkové výše regulace, tak zejména její kvality. Cílem práce je postihnout hlavní vývojové trendy v oblasti regulace a deregulace v zemích 6CE a zhodnotit dopad změn v oblasti regulace na konkurenční schopnost těchto zemí.
Abstract (in English)
The working paper focuses on the regulation and deregulation development in selected European Union member states: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Romania, Bulgaria and Slovenia (6CE) in the period from 1990 to 2007. It captures the main development trends in this area and deals with the volume of regulation as well as with its quality. The main goal of this paper is to examine the development in the area of regulation in these countries in connection with its impact on competitiveness.
