Abstract

Concentrations of hexachlorobenzene were observed to rise until 2006 at the regional observatory Košetice, Czech Republic. The analysis of air mass back trajectories allowed a description of spatial and temporal variations of possible source areas of this compound. A European passive air sampling network, MONET, provided information on the spatial distribution of hexa and pentachlorobenzene in air in this region.

Abstract (in Czech)

Na regionální observatoři Košetice, Česká republika, byl do roku 2006 pozorován nárůst koncentrací hexachlorbenzenu v ovzduší. Analýza zpětných trajektorií vzdušných mas umožnila popis prostorových a časových variací možných zdrojových oblastí této látky. Síť pasivních vzorkovačů ovzduší v Evropě, MONET, podala informace o prostorové distribuci koncentrací hexa a pentachlorbenzenu v daném regionu.
