Abstract

Příspěvek představuje a charakterizuje pomůcku nazvanou Diabetický žák ve třídě, manuál pro učitele základních škol. Jak z názvu vyplývá manuál byl zhotoven pro učitele žáků, kteří trpí celoživotním onemocněním cukrovkou prvního typu (diabetes mellitus juvenilis). Tato příručka, jejíž zhotovení bylo učiteli ze základních škol na katedře vyžádáno, popisuje většinu skutečností, se kterými se musí diabetické dítě denně vypořádat. Současně učitele vybavuje vědomostmi a dovednostmi, jak správně zareagovat na akutní komplikace, které se mohou u diabetického dítěte náhle vyskytnout a dále přináší informace o tom, jak poskytnut odbornou první pomoc. V příspěvku jsou postupně představeny všechny kapitoly manuálu, včetně informace o možnosti, jak tento text získat.

Abstract (in English)

The contribution presents and describes the aid called Diabetic Pupil in Class Handbook for Primary School Teachers. As follows from the title the handbook was written for teachers of students who suffer from lifelong illness diabetes mellitus type 1 (diabetes mellitus juvenilis). This handbook, written at primary school teachers request, describes majority of real situations which the diabetic student has to cope with on a daily basis. At the same time, teacher is being provided with the information and skills how to react to possible urgent complications that can suddenly occur at child. Furthermore, the handbook gives the infomation how to provide a professional first aid. Gradually, the contribution presents all the handbook chapters, including the infomation how to acquire the text.
