Abstract

Cílem příspěvku „Konkurenceschopnost ekonomiky – geneze problému“ je, jak již název napovídá, přiblížit vývoj problematiky makroekonomické konkurenceschopnosti v ekonomické teorii. Vzhledem k nejednoznačnosti a spornosti pojmu konkurenceschopnost ekonomiky a především vzhledem k jeho obrovské šíři, byly zvoleny dvě oblasti s konkurenceschopností ekonomik úzce související – mezinárodní obchod a ekonomický růst. Jak byly vnímány a interpretovány tyto dva okruhy problémů ve vývoji ekonomické teorie od merkantilizmu až do 20. století je obsahem první části příspěvku. Druhá část se opět z důvodu zúžení problematiky věnuje pouze oblasti mezinárodního obchodu a ekonomického růstu, tentokrát jsou ale obsahem postoje soudobých ekonomů a směrů k těmto dvěma makroekonomickým oblastem.

Abstract (in English)

The contribution „The competitiveness of the economy – the genesis of the problem“ focuses on the evolution of the macroeconomic competitiveness in the economic theory. Due to indefiniteness and sensitivity of the concept of competitiveness of the economy and above all due to its huge width there were chosen two areas with competitiveness of the economy intimately related – international trade and economic growth. The first part of the contribution is about perception and interpretation of these two areas in the evolution of the economic theory from mercantilism to the 20th century. The second part pursues again only the two areas - international trade and economic growth. It analyses attitudes of the contemporary economists and trends towards this two macroeconomic areas.
